KABA
Branding Identity
PackagingKABA is a incense collection packaging project inspired by the spiritual traditions of ancient Egypt. The collection centers around four deities, each represented through scent, color, and symbolism, transforming incense into a meaningful ritual experience. Every box is designed to reflect the essence of its god, connecting fragrance with themes like healing, transformation, harmony, and love.
Overall, KABA reimagines incense as more than just a product. It becomes a moment of reflection and connection. Through minimal typography, earthy materials, and a refined color system, the collection honors ancient ritual while presenting it in a modern, intentional way, inviting users to slow down and engage with scent on a deeper level.
Logo
The KABA logo draws from ancient Egyptian symbolism and the spiritual role of incense. By removing the A’s horizontal crossbars, I created a pyramid shape that references Egypt’s architecture and sacred rituals. The sharp geometry and serif type give the logo a timeless, elevated feel, balancing tradition with modern design while reinforcing KABA’s identity as a luxury incense brand rooted in history.
Color Palette
Each KABA incense scent is paired with its own color inspired by ancient Egyptian symbolism and natural ingredients. The deep reds, greens, blues, and golds reference earth, plants, night skies, and sacred materials, helping each product feel distinct while staying cohesive. Together, the palette reinforces KABA’s spiritual roots and creates a rich, grounded identity that connects scent, history, and ritual.
Product Individual View
Each KABA incense box opens to reveal a layered experience. The exterior presents the scent, deity, and purpose, while the interior features subtle Egyptian-inspired illustrations and a custom insert that holds both the incense sticks and pyramid burner. This structured layout creates a ritual-like unboxing moment, emphasizing craftsmanship, spirituality, and the premium nature of the collection while connecting each product back to its ancient Egyptian roots.
