Cover

This publication addresses child poverty by focusing on basic needs and human rights. Using a child’s feet as the central image subtly conveys vulnerability and lack of resources. This indirect approach encourages empathy and reflection without relying on guilt, inviting quiet awareness instead of a forced emotional response.

Interior

The interior spreads combine documentary photography, infographics, and editorial layouts to communicate the realities of child poverty. The infographics provide structure and context, while the imagery highlights everyday living conditions and resilience, creating a balanced mix of information and emotional depth.

Poster

The poster series uses close-up images, bold type, and natural textures to show child poverty through vulnerability and hope. Details like feet and facial expressions highlight basic needs and dignity. The earthy colors and materials support themes of resilience, while the message encourages unity and change.

From a Sock to a Smile

This interactive swag piece invites participants to turn a simple sock, a basic human need, into a small stuffed toy. The act of creating it reflects UNICEF’s focus on creativity, play, and child-centered care. By transforming something ordinary into something meaningful, users connect emotionally with the mission.

Campaign

This campaign raises awareness about child poverty by focusing on basic needs, dignity, and shared responsibility. The audio helps show children as individuals with families, friendships, and joy, not defined only by poverty.

Editorial Awareness

This project is a interactive installation awareness campaign addressing child poverty through print, posters, and video. Using editorial design and visual storytelling, the work highlights basic human needs and dignity while presenting children as individuals with lives beyond poverty.
